Micro²Gen

Micro²Gen (Microsystems-Microfluidics for Genetic tests) was founded in 2007 as a spin-off from NCSR "Demokritos". The company is a Microsystems company with products for the molecular diagnostics market and particularly for genetic tests.

R&D

Micro²Gen is currently developing the All-in-one^TM product, a low cost integrated micro system for nucleic acid extraction, mixing steps, purification, PCR amplification, biochemical reactions, and DNA micro array detection in real time - all integrated in the same device.

Target partners & Collaborations

The company collaborates with several companies and research institutes in Greece and the EU and is interested in developing collaborations with partners with experience in sensor technologies, in the areas of pharmaceuticals and genetics.
