On October 16, the Hellenic BioCluster and Praxi HELP-FORWARD Network (www.help-forward.gr) held the first partnering event in the biosciences sector in Greece.

The event aimed at strengthening the relationships between academia and industry, in order to facilitate technology transfer in Greece and promote business & research cooperation between Greek corporate players and researchers.

The event brought together company executives from the biotech sector in Greece as well as top-level scientists from Greek Research Centres, who met and discussed potential collaborations in prearranged bilateral meetings. 27 bioscience companies and 65 researchers took part in the partnering event and over 190 meetings were held.

Emphasis was given in exploring potential company-researchers collaborations within the framework of several current calls for proposals by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology Hellas.
