National Council of Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer (NCET2)

On October 1-3 the US National Council of Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer (NCET2) held it Annual University start-ups Conference
supported by the US National Sciences Foundation and the US National Institutes of Health.
The University Startups Conference is a unique conference series dedicated exclusively to creating and funding globally-competitive,
venture-backable university startups.
The National Council of Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer (NCET2) partnered with Science and Technology Officials at the various
Washington Embassies to include many international universities, investors and corporations in NCET2 programs and activities.
The meeting brought together university start-ups, research centres, high technology clusters, key decision makers, venture
capital associations and Fortune 500 technology scouts. In this year's conference the opening reception on the evening of
October 1, was hosted by the Embassy of Greece.
Greek HBio companies were represented and spin-ff HBio member companies were particularly promoted by PRAXI/Help-Forward
Network (www.help-forward.gr), the technology transfer organisation which is a founding member of HBio and actively
contributes to the clusters' various activities and initiatives.
PRAXI/Help-Forward networked and established links with representatives from the US National Venture Capital Association
(NVCA), the Strategic Venture Association (SVA), angel investors, other technology transfer organisations and key players
in the international arena.
