1994 and has since then established
itself as a leading supplier of products
and services to the growing
Biosciences sector in Greece, serving
mainly the clinical and academic research
market, as well as the molecular
diagnostics market. Today,
BioAnalytica is the largest provider in
Greece of products exclusively related
to Molecular Diagnostics, Molecular
Biology, Cell Biology, and Proteomics.

In 2004, BioAnalytica-Genotypos S.A.
was established to offer molecular diagnostic
services to the biomedical
community based on cytogenetic analysis
& molecular genotyping, as well
as enter into international R&D collaborations
for the development of
novel molecular diagnostics technologies.
BioAnalytica S.A. has also established a
leading role in the biomedical services
market, via multiple collaboration
agreements with a top service provider
specialising in the safe and fast transfer
of sensitive biological material for
health sector applications, employing
certified procedures and technically
qualified personnel. The company
serves Hospitals and other public organisations
in the health sector all over
Greece.
BioAnalytica S.A. operates offices in
Athens, Thessaloniki and Heraklion
(Crete) and employs approximately
60 highly trained employees, a large
part of which holds postgraduate qualifications
in Life Sciences. BioAnalytica
has received certification of quality
assurance systems: EN ISO 9001:2000
and ISO13485:2003. The BioAnalytica
Group is housed in its own premises
(2.150 sq.m.) in the centre of Athens.
